Great Wine and Food Events in SW WA & Portland

March 14, 2018
Forgeron Cellars Winery, from Walla Walla.

Come and hear Jeff Peda, Managing Partner of VinCru LLC, and distributor of the wines of Forgeron Cellars. Forgeron was founded by Winemaker Marie-eve Gilla in 2001. Marie was born and raised in Paris, France. She earned her Double Masters in Oenology and Viticulture at the University of Dijon, France (a place where they know something about wine!). Moving to the Pacific Northwest in 1991 she became a US Citizen in 2004.
With 25 years of experience working side-by-side with the Columbia Valley's best growers Forgeron blends French training with knowledge of Eastern Washington fruit to identify terroir that is best suited for each grape variety.
Forgeron has a 15 year history of producing 90+ point reviews on their wines. This speaks to the consistency and quality of their wines.
Here is the tentative wine line up for our meeting (it is subject to change).
